What’s Up? Week of June 26, 2017

Parishioners and friends!  We pray that you all have a blessed summer.  There’s a lot going on at the Assumption parish the next two months.

The Knitting and Crochet Club begins this Saturday.

The Orthodox Study group is working through Fr. Anthony Coniaris’s book Introduction to the Orthodox Church, and you’re all invited!

While we all need the rest and reflection that summer vacation brings, don’t forget to deepen your faith in Christ through prayer and worship with the ancient Orthodox Church here in San Angelo.

Our schedule is below.  Be on the lookout for our Open House next month to meet our new priest Fr. Mark.

We encourage you to connect with us not only face to face during worship and study, but also touch base with your local Body of Christ though our internet resources.  Listen to Ancient Faith Radio.  Ancient Faith Radio provides a wealth of spiritual media with music, podcasts, and talk radio.  I highly recommend it for your commute or vacation travel time.

And as always, we invite you to worship with us as the ancient Christians in  the first century and their descendants down through the following 21 centuries have always worshiped.  Our prayer is that together we can all live our time together in San Angelo in a way that leads to a living experience of God the Father, through Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit.  We look forward to seeing you at worship services this weekend.
